Pokeynitro, Poncho cabins has 5 units available. I have a brochure on them with the prices and a phone number for rental. Anyone needs a place to stay for the tournament or the weekend before call me for the info on Hwy 99 cabins(poncho's cabins).

Ray, I've have some moderate success with that technique on Kentucky & Barkley Lake back in the 60's when I was on tour. It's not anything that caught on very well. Ha Ha. Might be something that we have to try if the bite gets really slow..........He he he he.

You know back in the 90's when I was on "Tour" we used to drop shot those DD-22's and that worked real well out there on Barkley and Kentucky, never did work that well on these shallow water lakes here in Texas though.

KVD Don't have a firm count yet, people won't come in till this week and sign up than we will know. From what I can gather it looks like between 12 and 15 boats which would be good for a way tournament. Dave.

Anybody been out on Travis. No one has sign up yet for the tournament. Everyone planning on fishing needs to come by RT marine and see Dave before friday 5:00PM.

We have started the Friday evening jackpot tournament. We had 5 boats this pass Friday. We started at 6:00 and weighted in at 8:15, and it was getting real dark. Matt and Ryan did it to us again. Good job boys.

Laine, MAP to launch site (a reminder)

LBJ is coming up Saturday, 4-19-08. Everyone who is planning on fishing come in to R/T Marine sometime during the week and sign up. It will make it a lot easier getting the money divided up and have it ready right after weight in for passing it out. Of course after the pro's get through with the bass this week end they may not bite for a while. But I'm sure some of the ringers that we have in the WMBC will come throught. Anyway good luck to all.

Dave
Might have to have yellow arrows painted on the road so no one takes the wrong turn and winds up in a pasture.

Okay, its time for the Ivie tourney, if you haven't got your reservation yet Kennedy park is filling up fast. There is also Concho, and those other motel on the highway, which I will find out there names and post them when I get back or if anyone else goes up there let me know so we can get the info out. Its going to be hot, I hope in more ways than only weather. Should be a good tournament, we are trying to set up maybe a cookout Friday night. We have had some good ones up there in the past, if anyone has any input on the subject contact me or Laine. We are going to all start from Kennedy Park (launch and weight-in). The starting time as of now will be at 6:00 AM with weight-in at 2:30PM on Saturday, and on Sunday we will start at 6:00AM and weight-in at 1:00PM to give everyone a chance to get back home before dark and the traffic picks up. Everyone planning on fishing come in to RT and sign in before Friday 6-20-08, I will be leaving here Thursday evening going up there to prefish Friday, If you can't come in to RT see me at Kennedy Friday night, good luck to all.
